                                                Nov 2000 – Present: Senior Installation Engineer; Surveying, planning and implementing Cat5e, Cat6, Telecoms & Fibre Optic installations. Other duties include ordering and maintaining stock and organising staff. I was Site Foreman in August 2001 overseeing a 5-month contract at the new Police Headquarters in Wymondham, Norfolk. My main duties were to liase with Police Project Managers, my Team Leaders and other contractors

on-site to co-ordinate the installation and resolve difficulties. Other duties were to organise staff rotas, equipment and stock, along with installing and terminating cross-site multicore telecoms, coax and fibre cabling.  

 

                                                May 98 – Nov 99: Customer Service Engineer; Providing telephone helpdesk support and remote customer PC support via ISDN link. Other duties included upgrading operating systems, faultfinding, installing new servers and desktop PC’s.

 

Sept 96 – May 98: Field Service Engineer; Performing Onsite repair, maintenance and Upgrading of PC’s, Servers and Printers. Also skilled in building PC’s and Servers, general fault finding and configuring desktop PC’s.

Later I took the position of Service Engineer where I gained experience and building and repairing PC’s, printers, servers and games consoles.
