commsplace.com is very specific in its aims and objectives, they are:
It is this intention which makes commsplace.com the unique platform to promote your products and services whether it is a new router, cheap patchleads or simply to inform end users or larger contracting companies of your existence and willingness to work with them.
Since the launch of the site in November 2001 we have seen amazing interest. We started with a telesales campaign aimed at 2000+ cabling & networks installers. This will be followed by press releases, trade magazine advertising, mailshots and email campaigns to installers and end-users alike.
The site is completely free to browse and all contact information is available to the marketplace.
The site receives about 9000 hits per month.
Our primary marketing objective of UK search engine acceptance is nearing fruition since our instructions to a large professional web promotion company in November 2001. They guarantee TOP 5 listings in the UK search engines for specific keywords. When we start getting hit statistics and rankings from the company then we shall also publish these here.
We shall be looking to link our site with industry organisations and will be looking towards affiliations with manufacturers, distributors, specialist contractors and training bodies in order to secure special packages for members.
By the end of 2002, we hope to have established commplace.com as the industry standard single site for knowledge, marketing & exchange.
The comms industry has never seen such a complete and precise single source for information, products & services, until now.
We have placed a number of colour adverts & press releases in magazines such as Cabling World, Network Cabling News & Electrical Contracting News. We have also committed to 7 advertisments from August 2002 in Network Cabling News.
